UniGroup Continues to Meet ISO Standards
ST. LOUIS (December 7, 2016) – UniGroup, parent company of Mayflower Transit, United Van Lines and other relocation and logistics subsidiaries, recently received the highest rating possible during its surveillance audit to the ISO 9001:2008 and 14001:2004 standards. The rating and re-assessment was awarded following an audit completed Nov. 28-30.
“At UniGroup, we consistently monitor business procedures to ensure quality service and show we are committed to sustainable practices throughout our organization,” said Director of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Rebecca Peterson. “We feel achieving the ISO certifications shows this commitment. In 2017, we will operate to the new 2015 ISO standards and seek recertification to these new standards in November 2017.”
The new standards require an emphasis on risks and opportunities in business operations and strategies, as well as understanding and addressing the needs of interested parties to these operations.
